BOURBON-BRAISED ONIONS

Servings: 6
4 large onions, cut in 1/4-inch slices
1/4 cup beef or chicken stock
1/4 cup bourbon whiskey
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
Combine all ingredients in slow cooker.
Cover and cook on high 5-6 hours.
Amounts may be doubled for 6 quart cooker.
These go well with steak, roasts, or game.
