Hope that you are keeping well. I think the reason i was advised not to drink the coconut water from this particular coconut is because it's a an 'old' one i.e brown and not the fresh green one's you can also buy. So, i guess you don't really know how long it's been around!! LOL!! Also i think that that is what makes it more difficult to crack. When i think about drinks served in coconuts they are always the green one's so i guess it does make sense though the older brown ones are quite suitable for cooking which is what i intend to do with it. Please forgive me for being ditzy (i don't have a good short term memeory) but it is you with the daughter Emily isn't it? If so did she go back to London after Christmas or is that it now?
