Hi Angel,

When I read your note, I went searching for Dutch Love Cake, and I didn't find it in any of my cookbooks, or on the Web. But I did find this notation from a Sydney, Australia, restaurant review:

"Specialties you won't find often in Sydney include: ... Nana's love cake (with almonds, semolina and cardamon)..."

And the review mentions that:
"At Blue Elephant the Dutch influence is particularly interesting"

Now, remember, I can't count, right? :-) But putting 2 and 2 together here, I was wondering if Nana's Love Cake might be similar to the Dutch Love Cake? Or could you describe it?

I would like to help you find this recipe! We at TKL understand recipe obsession!! (haha)
