Angel O:-) : Cool Whip & the Love Cake!

Hi Angel,

Hope you don't mind me barging in here! Saw your question about Cool Whip, and I also have the Italian Love Cake recipe! (Actually, 3 versions of the Italian Love Cake!) One recipe calls for Cool Whip OR 1 pint heavy cream, whipped. Maybe you could use the heavy (or whipping) cream? This is an absolutely delicious cake!!! Angel, I guess you could call it heavenly! :-) So, don't let a little scarcity of Cool Whip stop you!

An added bit of information for you--one 8 oz. tub/container Cool Whip has about 3 1/2 cups.

A neighbor of my in-laws brought this cake over once, and everyone RAVED. I shared the recipe with one lady, and now her 2 children insist on this cake for their birthdays!! It's a goodie!
