Clarissa, I didn't know...

G'day Clarissa, I didn't even know there was an Italian Love Cake until a few months ago. I was searching for the Dutch Love Cake, went into Berks County Web Page and made enquiries there. Pam sent me the Italian one [this one] So far the nearest I have come to finding the Dutch Love cake is the Sri Lankan Love Cake. Wendy [ in the Ethnic board] informed me that it is derived from the Dutch. The recipe certainly sounds very much as I had it described to me. I have a Dutch friend who's mum still lives in Holland. I just might ask Ben, when he contacts her again, to ask her if there is such a cake, and if so could he get the recipe for me. I have come to the point where, getting this recipe, it is almost an obsession with me. Wish me luck? Love to all at TKL Angel O:-)
