G'day to you all, Gail it is wonderful to hear from you again. Did you get the message I posted for you re. Anzacs? If not I'll track down the info again and repost. You keep smiling cobber, and don't stay away so long this time.
Now for the explanation:: Sunnies are short for sunglasses. Lippie is short for lipstick. Bikkies are short for biscuits [cookies] I don't quite know how tasty the first two would be Nalani, cannot help you there. Australians are famous for shortening the names of almost everything. I have two Irish Setters, one is Bo and if I could shorten her name I would, the others name is Molly, well she gets called either Molls or Papa's little monster, usually the later, because she is just that, Papas little...etc. Love to all TKLers Angel O:-)
