Christmas Breakfast

Misc.

My husband's family has a tradition that every Christmas morning, everyone has breakfast at the home of whoever has the youngest child - to watch them open presents, etc. Then it just gets rotated every year. I personally am not too fond of this idea, for several reasons:

- You have to get up at the crack of dawn if you want to spend any time at home before evening (we go straight to grandparents for dinner after this). My husband & I have opened our gifts on Christmas Eve, 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM on Christmas Day.

- This is a sad confession coming from a TKL enthusiast, but I hate to make breakfast! Our first baby is due next week so this year will probably be my first turn (Oh goodie) unless I can get out of it - a 4 month old will not be too interested (or interesting) in opening presents. As it gets closer to Christmas, I'll probably be begging for help on either the Holiday or Party board! BTW, I'd rather cook Christmas dinner than breakfast! Is that weird?
