Corny Rice question -
Misc. This is a great menu and easy, too. I remember your talking about the Vigo products while I was up north, and of course, couldn't find it up there but Publix carries it and Winn-Dixie, too. I was wondering if it's spicy - I have to tone things down for DH - I like things spicy but have to "cool it down" for him.
What other rices that they make are good?
I've made your Greek Spinach Casserole several times - once I tripled the recipe to take in a large casserole to an association dinner. It all went!
Thanks for the info on Vigo.
Re: fall decorating - way down here in the more tropical climate of SW Florida, the fall season is the forgotten season it seems. No one decorates with all the traditional fall things, like pumpkins, leaves, corn stalks or wreaths. The first year I was down here, I had gone to one of the local craft stores and asked for colored leaves for a centerpiece - the girl had no idea what I was talking about, and they didn't carry them.
I loved the colors and feeling of fall, but always got depressed knowing that winter and snow followed so soon. Now, I miss the fall, but sure am happy to skip winter!
Hugs - June
