Dear June: I also love your recipes & descriptions.

Misc.
We do have beautiful weather the whole year around. I guess maybe the reason of Floridas humidity is that Southern Florida was built on land recovered mostly from the swamps. Ponce (my hometown ) can get to be extremely hot, perhaps the hottest city in the island. San Juan (capital city), on the contrary, is built on land also recovered from the swamps. Everytime I wash the terrace I have to clean it with clorox and very potent detergents or it will get a greenish color. That does not happen on the south of the island.

Maybe, those countries bordering the Atlantic ocean (like the north of our island) have different climates than those bordering the Caribbean (southern part of PR) but that those not make too much sense.

Thanks for liking my postings dearest friend.
