Gladys/PR---a small suggestion re: Potato Galette

As I read your note to Manyhats I remembered this little hint for making a Potato Galette. Try preparing it in a heavy-duty, round Teflon cake pan. The one I used was my 8" pan, but I'd use a 9" for Manyhats Potatoes Elegante. The Galette unmolded perfectly! It is such a delicious dish, & such a lovely presentation for the lowly spud. I'd kinda forgotton about this recipe, since for so many years now my cooking emphasis has been on filling up my 5 sons.....most definately NOT on presentation. Now that they're grown I need to make more effort towards that end. Let us know if you try Manyhats recipe. Your friend in CA, Cali
