Hi Deb,
I've made a full sheet cake for one of the teachers up at school. I just took a jelly roll pan, lined with wax paper and used I one and a half cake mixes. I did this twice to have two large layers. I then frosted it with a basic butter cream frosting. You can easily add a border of piped stars using a start tip and a decoraing bag. This made a very big cake and can be decorated any way you want it. I ended up getting a cake box and cardboard rectangle to place it on up at one of the local grocery stores.
