I have started using silk flowers as decorations. Either make a sheet cake or several 8 or 10 inch round cakes. I then ice and use the small writing tip and pipe over the cake never crossing the line, giving the cakes a lacy appearance. I pipe on a star border, and make an arrangement for the top with the silk flowers. Hope this helps.
