LOL...LOL...LOL.....What did you start here Lisa??? ..more

Misc.

I couldn't stop laughing...(I'm still laughing)....
Lisa, this is a GREAT way to "kick off" a week....
Here are some of our family/friends "weird" food combos
Hubby's late-night snack...(mind you, I'm a yankee!!) is Crushed saltine crackers with buttermilk and chopped raw onions, or leftover cornbread with buttermilk and raw onions...yuk!!! (What were you saying about us "weird yankees, Juanita???)
My 8-yr old grandson loves pizza dipped in ranch dressing..
My dad always ate lemon/orange/bermuda onion salad with olive oil and black pepper....(had to have his Italian bread) this is actually pretty good!!
When my son, who is now 32, was little...the only kind of sandwich he would eat was mayo/mustard/ketchup...THAT's IT!!
When my best friend was pregnant she put tuna salad on a cracker that was first spread with peanut butter (she made me try it...and it also, was pretty good!)
several of you have mentioned the peanut butter/mayo/ lettuce sandwiches, and this brought back a lot of memories to me because my friends mother always packed those when she took us to the beach way back in the late '50's in southern calif...they were good...
my girlfriend June (who is a long-time Hawaiian dancer (an instructor now), tells me her husband's favorite sandwich is pineapple/bacon/mayo, whereas, my hubby just eats pineapple/mayo...
my husband also eats peanut butter and syrup on his pancakes...and
I, too, grew up with the notion that mashed potatoes weren't appealing without that "creamed corn" blopped on top...
anyone for an onion and butter sandwich...???
as for me....just give me a hot buttered biscuit, with a juicy slice of vine riped tomato on top....smothered in good 'old gravy....
