Not necessarily weird, but good combos.....(more)

Misc.

Everyone in my family has to have corn mixed in with mashed potatoes. It's one of those things that ya just gotta do. If we have mashed potatoes, we must have corn or no one eats. With chicken and dumplings, the chicken has to be fried, with bisquit dumplings, and broccoli, with the juice from the dumplings saturating everything. Has to be that way, no questions asked. Don't know how these little combinations started, but there is much hell to be paid if the policy isn't adhered to! My youngest (7 yrs) has to make a sandwich out of everything on his plate (all together). But he refuses to eat condiments like mayo, mustard, dressing, or salad. For me, if I have a BBQ beef sandwich, it has to have some type of dill pickle sandwich stacker on it. Tuna fish sandwiches must have doritos stacked in between the bread slices for my hubby and I. The list is endless! I'm still wondering about the tartar sauce and popcorn........hehe
