re: 54th Street Gringo Dip

54th Street Gringo Dip recipe has been a well kept secret over the years. The man who had the master recipes is right but how you would ever figure out how to make a smaller batch is beyond me. Lets face it what would you do with that much cheese sauce not to mention the cost would be sky high. I know many cooks have tried to make it at home in smaller batches. It never turned out the same. To the girl that says Gringo Dip does not contain cilantro is incorrect and clearly not allergic because 54s pico is full of cilantro and guess what? Pico is in Gringo Dip. My advice is to hit 54 at happy hour for your Gringo fix rather than fuss with trying to make it at home...
