Madhatter, If you can fid a copy , a worthwhile volume to add to your repetoire would be th Anniversary Slovak-American Cook Book first publised in 1952 by the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Union whose national head- quarters were in Cleveland Ohio at 3756 Lee Rd. This was/is a Fraternal organization in the U.S. and Canada. I also have a copy of a church sponsered cook book of Slovak American recipes. YOU CAN E-MAIL IF YOU WISH. My grandmother came from the town of Jaklovce which is near the provincial capital of Bratislava.
