Misc.

Turns out the problem originates at her daddy's after all. My daughter was surprised and shocked that he said it's not unusual for Ash to make herself throw up after supper.
AngelaF....I'm sorry, I think I left the wrong impression. Thanks for calling my attention to it, and please allow me to clarify. A number of people do show disrespect to heavier people. I've gotten heavy, my husband has too... The ex's sister I referred to is one who, I understand, eats 3 to 4 full portions per meal, and is known to snack on pizza and twinkies and such while cooking (enough for a two person meal); she gets literally no exercize. It's her habits that make her a poor example, and her size is a result of it. It's very likely that Ash heard someone making fun of her.
There is a whole lot of information here for me to work with. I can't thank everyone enough.
My computer may be down for the next couple of days, but I'll keep you informed.
