Trouble with Black and Decker B2300 bread machine

Misc.
We are having trouble baking with this B2300 Bread Machine...The lid will open during the baking...The recipes are minimum....I would like to thank the people who are helping us figure out this machine!
I am at one inch to return it to the store...
