What A Wonderful Lesson Of Love, Gladys!

Dearest Gladys,

What a wonderful lesson of love and sharing you are expressing to your niece! She will be learning from a great teacher, no doubt! I am sure you will be passing on many, many secrets of cooking and exquisite recipes to her.

Thanksgiving will be delightful because you will be with family and your sweet Mama's spirit this year. It will be very nice to just relax and let others serve you too! Your recipes will live on with Coqui and others after her.

I will ask my Mama about the Ponche Romano...is that like a Brazo Jitano? A cake rolled up soaked with almibar and decorated with guava strips? I will ask her and my Tia Aimee about it and get back to you.

The baker is right in her assumption, she knows she will lose a valuable customer. Nevertheless, we will get the recipe, it can't be a secret!

Well mi querida Gladys, you and your loved ones are wished a most Happy Thanksgiving Day in sunny Puerto Rico...I am looking forward to reading your menu too!
