What a great menu - will your Mom be helping you?

Misc.
Hi Gina - I can just smell that wonderful turkey smell - hmmmmm-yumm!

Your menu is really wonderful. How many people will you be serving? Sounds like enough for a small army! With the exception of the cinnamon cidar glaze on the turkey, most of your recipes are ones that I've done and are old favorites of mine, too.

In your Corn Pudding recipe, I have that recipe, and discovered (hint from my niece) that the addition of two small finely diced jalapenos really add flavor and depth to that casserole, and it doesn't make it hot or too spicey at all - just wonderful kick of extra flavor.

The pumpkin pie with struesel topping also is terrific sounding. I had a friend who had a fall dinner a few years ago, and had a LARGE hollowed out pumpkin filled with fall flowers and big spider mums for her table centerpiece - so pretty.

Your roll recipe is the same one I've been making for years, given to me by my ex-MIL who was a fabulous baker, having been born in Sweden. I blame her (not really) for being responsible for my first extra 40#. She used to make sticky pecan rolls and bring a plate over every day when they came to visit me and our first new baby (now 45!!)

It was a situation where I liked my MIL more than my ex!!
Oh, well, that's another story from another lifetime - -

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving day with your Mom, DH and company. Thanksgiving and Easter dinners were always my favorite holiday dinners to make.

Love to all - June
