Apple Twists
Makes 16 apple twists.

2 large apples, peeled, cored and quartered
1 can refrigerated quick crescent rolls
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Cut each apple quarter into half lengthwise to make 16 apple wedges.

Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into 8 triangles. Cut each triangle in half lengthwise to make 16 triangles.

Mix cinnamon and sugar together. Sprinkle cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the 16 dough triangles.

Place one apple wedge on each triangle of dough. Wrap dough around apple wedge. Squeeze dough together where it meets. Place on cookie sheet and bake 20 to 25 minutes or until browned. Serve warm or cooled.
