Recipe: Easy Yummy Corn Bread (cake-like, using biscuit mix)

Breads - Muffins, Quick Breads
EASY YUMMY CORN BREAD

2 cups Bisquick
1 cup sugar
1 cup butter, melted and cooled
1 cup milk
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 to 3 heaping tbsp cornmeal
1/2 tsp baking soda

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a 13x9-inch cake pan.*

Mix all ingredients together with wooden spoon or whisk. Pour into prepared pan.

Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes.

Serve with butter and honey (and chili).

*Cut recipe in half for 4 people and bake in a 9x9 or 8x8-inch pan.

Note from source: This recipe is super yummy. My boyfriend said he didn't like corn bread until he had mine. It has a moist, cake like consistency that can tend to fall apart when warm (just use a fork) but is more stable when cooled.
