Recipe(tried): Banana Blender Drink

Beverages
I am adding what "diets" some of my recipes are good for because of two reasons: 1) I have blood sugar issues, I'm hypoglycemic and 2) some recipes in my collection were given to me by my late FIL when we were trying to figure out what he could eat on a "renal diet" which eliminates most liquids, milk, whole grains, beans, most sodium, most potassium, etc.

BANANA BLENDER DRINK
(Diabetic Friendly)

1 cup fat-free milk
1/2 large banana, frozen and sliced*
3 Tbsp. wheat germ
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 to 2 tsp. artificial sweetener, optional

Combine all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Pour into a glass and enjoy.

*How to freeze a banana: Peel the banana and place in a zippered plastic bag. Freeze the bag for at least 8 hours.
