BUTTER PECAN COOKIES
2 1/4 cups sifted all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup white granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup finely chopped pecans
Sift together flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, beat thoroughly. Add sifted dry ingredients and nuts. Mix well. Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375 degrees F about 10 minutes or until delicately brown.
