This is an Armenian recipe:
Buterscotch Banana Bread
Source: Reflections Of An Armenian Kitchen by Sylvia Handjian, 1999
3 1/2 cup unsifted flour
4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground nutmeg
1 tsp salt
2 cupd very ripe mashed bananas
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 cups butter, melted
1/2 cup milk
2 2/3 cups chopped pecans
1 (12oz) pkg butterscotch bits
Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.
Combine bananas, sugar, eggs and butter in large bowl and beat until creamy. Gradually add flour mixture alternately with milk. Mix until well blended. Stir in 2 cups chopped pecans and butterscotch bits.
Pour batter equally into 2 well-greased and floured 9x5x3-inch loaf pans. Sprinkle 1/3 cup pecans over each loaf.
Bake at 350F 60-70 minutes. Cool 15 minutes. Remove loaves from pans. Place on wire racks to cool completely.
