ROAST PORK WITH BANANA SAUCE
1 pork loin roast, about 3 pounds
1 tablespoon salad oil
Lawry's Seasoned Salt to taste
Lawry's Seasoned Pepper to taste
1/4 cup Lawry's Minced Onion with Green Onion Flakes
1/4 teaspoon Lawry's Garlic Powder with Parsley
1 can (4 oz.) diced green chiles
2 ripe bananas
1 1/2 cups orange juice
In large skillet, brown pork on all sides in hot oil; remove from pan. Season roast with Seasoned Salt, Seasoned Pepper, Minced Onion with Green Onion Flakes and Garlic Powder with Parsley. Place in roasting pan.
Pour remaining ingredients in food processor, using steel blade, or in blender. Pour sauce over roast, cover and cook in 350 F. oven 1 1/2 to 2 hours, basting frequently. Remove roast to serving platter; keep warm. Skim fat from sauce and serve in separate bowl.
