Recipe: Celebration Coffee Cake (using cake mix and coconut pecan frosting mix)

CELEBRATION COFFEE CAKE

1 box (2-layer size) yellow cake mix
1 1/2 cups sour cream
4 eggs
2 boxes dry coconut pecan frosting mix
1 stick (1/2 cup) margarine, cut in small cubes

Grease and flour a 13x9-inch baking pan.

Mix dry cake mix, sour cream, and eggs. Spread 1/2 of the batter in pan. Sprinkle with 1 box of the dry frosting mix. Spread remaining cake batter on top. Sprinkle with second box of dry cake mix. Dot top with butter.

Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Top will be uneven. Serve warm if desired.

Recipe may be halved. Use 2 cups of the dry cake mix. Bake in an 8 or 9-inch baking pan at 350 for 30 to 35 minutes.
