Recipe: Chicken Noodle Soup (for 50)

Chicken Noodle Soup (for 50)

This will feed 50 people if you use 1 cup per person
3 gallons chicken stock
8 oz onion chopped or 1 oz (1/2 cup) dehydrated onions
8 oz celery chopped
Bring stock to a boil. Add onion and celery; cook until tender.
1 pound noodles
Add noodles. Cook for about 15 minutes or until noodles are tender.
8 oz margarine, melted
4oz flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper white
Blend margarine and flour. Add to soup, stirring until slightly thickened; add seasonings.
1 pound 8 oz cooked chicken, diced
Add chicken and simmer for 5 minutes.
Note: For chicken rice soup substitute 12 oz rice for the noodles
