CITRUS DELIGHT
"This easy method produces a three layered lemon-lime dessert to delight the eye and palate. Sets in 30 minutes."
1 (3 oz.) package Jell-O Lemon Flavor Gelatin
1 tablespoon sugar
1 1/2 cups boiling water, divided use
2 1/2 cups crushed ice, divided use
1/2 cup sour cream
1 (3 oz.) package Jell-O Lime Flavor Gelatin
Combine lemon flavor gelatin, sugar, and 3/4 cup of the boiling water in electric blender container. Cover and blend at low speed until gelatin is dissolved, about 1 minute. Add 1 cup of the ice and the sour cream. Cover and blend at high speed until ice is melted, about 30 seconds.
Pour into a serving bowl, chill until set, about 20 minutes.
Then, combine lime flavor gelatin and remaining boiling water in electric blender container. Cover and blend at low speed until gelatin is dissolved, about 1 minute. Add remaining ice; cover and blend at high speed until ice is melted.
Carefully pour into bowl over creamy mixture. Chill 30 minutes.
Makes 4 1/2 cups or 8 servings
