Crumb-Topped Broccoli with Parmesan

This is the broccoli recipe I was talking about:
It's very simple, all you do is parboil the broccoli flowerets for about 8 minutes with a couple of lemon slices(it keeps the broccoli nice and green; then you take a casserole dish, or a 9-inch pie plate (depending on the number of your guests)you butter it and you sprinkle some dry breadcrumb and grated parmesan cheese on the bottom to make a coating; then you layer the broccoli sprinkle even amounts of 'crumbs' and cheese on top of the broccoli, dot with some margarine or butter(you can make one or more layers) and you bake at 350 oven until is nice and brown all around, about 30 minutes or more depending on the size of the dish. Broccoli Casserole

1 cup chopped onion
4 T. margarine
1 8-oz. jar Cheese Whiz
10 oz. pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, thawed
1 cup cooked rice
1/4 cup slivered almonds
1 10 1/2 oz. can cream of mushroom soup

Saute onion in butter. Add soup and cheese whiz. Stir until smooth and bubbly. Stir in thawed broccoli and add rice.

Simmer for a few minutes. Put in buttered casserole. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes.
