Makes 2/12 dozen
From a lady I worked with in the 70's - You will be the Host/Hostesss with the mostest
DOUGH
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup margarine
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
3 eggs
1/4 lb Velveeta, cut in small cubes
FILLING
2 cups chopped cooked chicken
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 lb Velveeta, cut in small cubes
1/2 tsp salt
dash pepper
Bring water and margarine to a boil. Add flour and salt; stir vigorously over low heat until mixture forms a ball. Remove from heat. Add eggs one at a time, betting until smooth after each addition. Stir in cheese, mixing until melted. Drop level tablespoonfuls of dough onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees, 25 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet immediately.
Combine chicken, celery, onion, cheese, and seasonings, mix lightly. Cut tops from chicken puffs; fill with chicken mixture. Replace tops. Bake at 350 degrees 15 minutes
