Recipe: Ice Cream Sundae Cake (using pound cake, freeze ahead, 1960's)

ICE CREAM SUNDAE CAKE

Alternate two thin slices of pound cake with two slices of vanilla or chocolate ice cream. If desired, make these "sandwiches" ahead of time, wrap in foil and freeze.

Serve topped with sundae sauce or with sweetened fresh berries or peaches.
