Recipe: Everyday Apple Oatmeal (using dried apples and raisins)

Breakfast and Brunch
EVERYDAY APPLE OATMEAL

2 cups old-fashioned oats, uncooked
5 cups apple cider
1/2 cup chopped dried apples
1/2 cup golden raisins
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt

In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients and mix well. Cover and bring to a boil over medium heat. Cook 6 to 7 minutes, or until creamy, stirring occasionally.

Makes 4 servings
