Fettuccine Alfredo with Langostino Shrimp

Use the real stuff, it's worth it!

1 pint of Heavy Cream
1 stick of butter
2 TBS cream cheese
1/2 - 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated is best!
1 tsp Garlic powder or 1 garlic clove, finely minced
1 lb Langostino Shrimp, approx.
8 oz fettuccine, cooked & kept warm

In a saucepan combine butter, heavy cream, and cream cheese. Simmer this until all is melted, and mixed well. Add the Parmesan cheese and Garlic powder. Simmer this for 15 - 20 minutes on low. (Let the sauce simmer for longer if you can) You can season with a little salt & freshly cracked black pepper, if you so desire. Gently stir in shrimp. I made this using half and half, but prefer the heavy cream. Serve over hot, fettuccine & garnish with more Parmesan. Serves 4.
