Recipe: Festive Sugar Nuts
Appetizers and Snacks Festive Sugar Nuts
3 cups pecan halves
1 1/2 cups walnut halves
2 cups sugar
1 cup water
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Mix ingredients in a skillet ( I use cast iron) cook until water disappears and nuts have a surgary appearance. Remove from heat and pour nuts onto a baking sheet. Separate quickly with two forks.
You don't have to use the walnuts if you don't want to. You can probably just use pecans.
