Recipe: Gooey Chocolate Caramel Cake (using cake mix)

GOOEY CHOCOLATE CARAMEL CAKE

1 (18 oz.) pkg. chocolate cake mix
1 jar caramel ice cream topping
whipped topping
crushed candy bars

Prepare chocolate cake mix according to package directions.

Bake in a 9x13-inch pan following package time and temperature. When cake is done, remove from oven and cool slightly.

Poke holes all over the cake (using a wooden spoon handle). Pour caramel sauce all over the cake. Refrigerate until completely cooled.

Spread whipped topping over top and sprinkle with crushed candy bars.
