Recipe: Ham and Egg Salad Spread (Hamilton Beach Blender, 1950's)

HAM AND EGG SALAD SPREAD

3 tablespoons chili sauce
1 tablespoon vinegar
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 sweet pickle, cut in 1-inch pieces
2 stalks celery, cut in 1-inch pieces
1 1/2 cups cooked ham, cubed
3 hard-cooked eggs, shelled

Put all ingredients except eggs in blender container in order listed; cover and blend on Speed 6 until ingredients are chopped. If necessary, stop Blender during processing and push ingredients toward blades with rubber spatula.

Quarter eggs; add to Blender container, cover and blend on Speed 6 just until eggs are coarsely chopped.

Makes 3 1/2 cups
