Recipe: Ham Fried Rice

Main Dishes - Rice, Grains, Pasta
HAM FRIED RICE

3 Tablespoons soy sauce
2 drops sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 quarts cooked white rice, cold
1 egg, beaten with a dash of salt
1 cup of ham cut into 1/2" squares
2 green onions, sliced
9 Tablespoons oil
1 handful bean sprouts

Mix soy sauce, sesame oil and salt together in a small bowl. Reserve.

Heat 4 Tablespoons oil, add egg and cook, breaking up into small pieces. Remove egg to a plate and reserve.

Heat remaining 5 Tablespoons of oil and fry ham, add rice and bean sprouts, stirring constantly over medium high heat.

Add fried egg and mix thoroughly. Add soy sauce mixture, pouring over rice and stirring until rice is covered with sauce, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat, stir and serve.
