Recipe(tried): Heavenly Biscuit Muffins and Sausage Gravy

HEAVENLY BISCUIT MUFFINS AND SAUSAGE GRAVY

2 cups Bisquick baking mix
1 (8 oz) carton sour cream
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, room temperature

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Spray muffin tin with non-stick cooking spray.

In a mixing bowl, mix all ingredients together. Divide batter into muffins tin.

Bake for 15-20 minutes. Let sit 5 minutes before removing removing from pan. Serve immediately.

SAUSAGE GRAVY

12 oz bulk pork sausage
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp coarse ground black pepper
3 cups milk
1 tsp sugar (don't leave this out)

Crumble sausage into a large skillet. Cook over medium-high heat until browned and no longer pink, stirring frequently.

Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Gradually stir in milk. Add sugar. Cook until mixture thickens, stirring constantly.

TO SERVE:
Place biscuits on serving plates. Serve gravy over warm split biscuits.
