Recipe: Herbed Green Beans (using garlic, parsley, rosemary, and basil) (1980)

HERBED GREEN BEANS

1 pound fresh green beans, cooked and drained
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup minced onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 cup finely chopped celery
1/2 cup minced fresh parsley
1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
1/4 teaspoon dried basil, crushed
1/4 teaspoon salt
Freshly ground pepper to taste

Melt butter or margarine in saucepan; add onion, garlic, and celery. Saute for 4 minutes. Add parsley, rosemary, basil, salt, and pepper. Cover and simmer 5 minutes.

Add green beans and toss; cover and heat through. Toss again before serving.

Makes 6-8 servings
