Recipe: Honey-Maple Ham
Main Dishes Honey-Maple glaze
3/4 cup honey
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
3 TBS melted butter
2 TBS brown sugar
Combine ingredients and use as glaze on ham, poultry, pork and seafood. Yield: about 1-1/4 cups.
*Useful Tip: if desired stir in some grated nutmeg, ground cloves and/or ground ginger to taste.
Heat a lean, boneless ham (Tavern Ham) for an hour at 350 F. Brush on glaze and heat for 30 minutes more basting with additional glaze every 10 minutes or so.
