Question for Gladys

Gladys, I am looking for a recipe for halibut. It will be my first time making it. I am wondering, based on this recipe you posted, can I leave the halibut steaks whole, mix the other ingredients together, and use it as a marinade for the fish? I like all the ingredients listed, but I would rather grill it than stir fry it. Let me know what you think, dear Gladys.
