Recipe: Jamba Juice Pacific Passion (similar to Mango-A-Go-Go
BeveragesMango-A-Go-Go Ingredients:
passionfruit-mango juice blend, frozen mangos, pineapple sherbet, ice.
Here is a recipe that looks similar - I would try substituting frozen mangos for the strawberries and peaches:
Jamba Juice Pacific Passion
Source: Jamba Juice Power by Kirk Perron, founder of Jamba Juice with Stan Dembecki
1 cup passion fruit / mango juice
1 cup pineapple sherbet
1 cup strawberries
1/2 cup peaches
1/2 cup ice
Listen and watch your smoothie as it blends.
1. Pour measured amount of liquid into blender.
2. Add frozen ingredients, except ice.
3. Add fresh or frozen fruit.
4. Add ice.
5. Begin blending on low.
6. After about 30 seconds blend on high until you see the whirl at the center of the blender cup.
7. Take the lid off and tap on the side of the blender cup while pouring.
8. For the proper thickness, your smoothie should form a mound in the cup. This is the Jamba standard for most smoothies.
Tips:
1. Too thick? Add more liquid.
2. Too thin? Add more frozen ingredients.
3. Chunky, weird matter? Reblend and recheck for proper ingredients.
4. The blades stop to catch the ingredients? Take blender cup of and give it a good shake. Restart the blender. Repeat if necessary.
5. Big warning: Always turn the blender off before putting anything in it. Especially your hands!
Happy Blending!
