Recipe: Kellogg's Crispix Original Mix (with mixed nuts and pretzels)

6 cups Kellogg's Crispix cereal*
1 cup mixed nuts*
1 cup pretzels*
2 tbsp margarine, melted
1/4 tsp garlic salt (or 1/8 tsp garlic powder)
1/4 tsp onion salt (or 1/8 tsp onion powder)
2 tsp lemon juice
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Combine Kellogg's Crispix cereal, nuts and pretzels in a 13x9x2-inch baking pan. Set aside.
Stir together remaining ingredients. Gently stir spices and margarine into cereal mixture until evenly coated.
Bake at 250 degrees F for about 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool. Store in airtight container.
MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS:
In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine cereal, nuts and pretzels. Follow step 2 above. Microwave at HIGH 4 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes. Cool. Store in airtight container. Tested in a 700-watt microwave oven, increase cooking time for lower-wattage ovens.
VARIATION (WITH CHEESE):
After the first 15 minutes of baking, add 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. Stir to coat. Bake 30 minutes longer, stirring as directed above.
*If desired, use unsalted nuts and pretzels.
*One 350 g pkg makes 2 batches Crispix Mix
