Recipe(tried): Kentucky Pie

Misc.

Dear Terri: My Sarah is a November baby! Here is the recipe for Kentucky Pie. Just made one last night to take to a friend who just had surgery.

1/2 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 stick butter
2 eggs
1/2 to 1 cup chocolate chips (I prefer 1/2 cup - but I'm not a big choc. person)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 9 inch pie crust - unbaked

Combine flour, sugar and eggs. Add melted butter and let sit for 30 seconds. Combine. Add chocolate chips and vanilla; pour into pie crust. Bake at 350 for 35-40 mintues. You can add nuts to this but my family doesn't like nuts. Enjoy, Mrs. Food (Best if made day before) Sarah likes it kept in refrigerator. Says it tastes like a "tootsie roll".
