Thank-you for your timely response. I enjoyed reading your post. I have about 2 or 3 copies of this recipe. It is known as Lindys New york cheese-cake. I do remember a little bit about this recipe & it isn't anywhere like you described in your post. If you are intent on baking this cake I will try to find this recipe for you.
