Recipe: Mangoes for gifts

Menus

After thinking about your mango crop, I thought now is the ideal time for you to make Christmas gifts. How about using some and making bread in a jar for gifts. Also found this recipe. I would think a lot of people would be happy to get either of these for gifts.
Mango Preserves
1 med pineapple or 1 large can crushed pineapple
6 med apples
6 large mangoes
2 cups seedless raisins
5 cups water
3 cups sugar
2 tablespoons pumpkin pie spice
Peel and chope pineapple, apples and mangoes. Add raisins, water and spice. Bring to a toil; add sugar and cook until fruit is tender. mash with a potato masher. Mixture should be like a sauce. Pack into hot jars and seal immediately. approx. 6-8 pints. Variation: Fruit may be sealed in hot juars as is after cooking period without mashing.
