1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow creme
2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup water
A pinch of salt
1 cup chopped nuts
1 teaspoon vanilla
Pour the jar of marshmallow creme into a bowl. Combine sugar, salt and water in a saucepan; bring to a boil and cook until the soft ball stage has been reached (234-238 degrees on a candy thermometer. Pour over marshmallow creme. Stir until stiff peaks form. Add vanilla and nuts. Pour into buttered dish or drop by spoonfulls onto waxed paper. Cut in pan while still warm.
