Recipe: Noodles Romanoff Atkins style

Noodles Romanoff Atkins style

1 head cabbage -- sliced into noodles
1 pound cream cheese -- softened
8 ounces sour cream
2 tablespoons butter -- melted
1/2 cup scallions -- chopped(green onions)
1 clove garlic -- crushed
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup TVP -- (or omit for topping)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Cook until barely tender. Drain. Mix together cream cheese, sour cream, and butter. Stir into cabbage. Add scallions, garlic, and pepper, and turn into buttered baking dish. Combine TVP(crumbs) and Parmesan cheese and sprinkle over top of noodle mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

**Note: If you have leftover protein bread that has dries, put in the foodprocessor for crumbs and use in place of the TVP.
