Old Fashioned Oatmeal Cookies

Makes 2-1/2 dozen cookies
3/4 cup butter flavored Crisco
1-1/4 cups firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1/3 cup milk
1-1/2 tsp vanilla
1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cinnamon
3 cups quick oats(not instant or old fashioned)
1 cup raisins
1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 375 Grease cookie sheet with butter flavored Crisco
Combine Crisco ,sugar, egg, milk and vanilla in large bowl. Beat at medium speed of electric mixer
until well blended. Combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Mix into creamed mixture at low speed until just blended Stir in oats, raisins and nuts with spoon.
Drop by rounded tablespoons of dough 2 inches apart onto cookie sheet Bake 375 for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheet Remove to cooling rack.
